What You’ll Do:As a Pre-Construction Manager, you will manage the pre-construction phase of residential and commercial projects, ensuring each project is fully developed, accurately costed, and ready for delivery. You will work closely with estimating, commercial, operational, and project teams to develop programmes, assess risks, coordinate technical requirements, and ensure a smooth transition into construction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the pre-construction process across residential, commercial, refurbishment, and building projects

  • Review project specifications, drawings, and tender documentation

  • Coordinate surveys, site investigations, and technical assessments

  • Develop construction programmes, methodologies, and project proposals

  • Work with estimating, commercial, and operational teams to prepare accurate project submissions

  • Identify project risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies

  • Support value engineering and buildability reviews

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and supply chain partners throughout the pre-construction phase

  • Coordinate project information and ensure documentation is complete and accurate

  • Ensure projects are fully prepared for a successful handover into construction


What You Bring:

  • Previous experience in a pre-construction, project management, estimating, or operational construction role

  • Experience delivering residential, commercial, refurbishment, or building projects

  • Strong technical understanding of construction methods and sequencing

  • Excellent planning, organisational, and project management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Commercial awareness with the ability to identify project risks and opportunities

  • Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively across multiple business functions

  • Relevant qualification in Construction, Building, Surveying, or a related discipline is preferred
