Senior Site Manager – Residential & Commercial Construction

Salary: $150,000–$180,000 per year + super

What You’ll Do: As a Senior Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of construction projects, ensuring programmes remain on track while coordinating trades, subcontractors, materials, safety, and site operations. You will work closely with Project Managers, clients, staff, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage site activities and ensure project programmes remain on track
Coordinate daily workflow and look-ahead planning
Read and interpret construction plans and carry out setting out where required
Supervise and coordinate site staff, trades, and subcontractors
Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are maintained
Coordinate timely delivery of materials, equipment, and machinery
Manage subcontractors and monitor their performance
Liaise with clients and Project Managers to maintain effective communication
Monitor project progress and identify potential issues before they impact delivery
Support the successful delivery of projects valued between $2m and $20m
Work across new-build and refurbishment projects as required
What You Bring:
Minimum 10 years' experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry
Proven experience delivering multidisciplinary construction projects
Experience across new-build and refurbishment projects valued between $2m and $20m
Experience across education, government, commercial, industrial, aged care/retirement living, and residential projects
Trade background
Strong track record within the Sydney construction market
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong time-management and organisational abilities
Experience with Procore and HammerTech is preferred
Committed, experienced, and passionate approach to construction and project delivery
