About the Organisation: A leading Australian construction contractor specialising in retaining wall and structural projects. The business delivers projects across a range of major construction and infrastructure environments and offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced Project Managers, Directors, and construction professionals within a collaborative project delivery team.


What You’ll Do: As a Project Engineer, you will support the project construction and delivery team across procurement, project documentation, cost management, design coordination, and project handover. You will work closely with Project Managers, Directors, and the Construction Manager to ensure projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining strong standards across time, cost, quality, and safety.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Delivery team across procurement, trade letting, documentation review, and project handover

  • Analyse project data using Excel, Procore, and construction documentation

  • Manage and review building permit processes

  • Monitor and report on project costs and coordinate invoice management

  • Implement and maintain best-practice processes as part of continuous improvement initiatives

  • Follow company operational and OHS requirements

  • Participate in design reviews to support procurement, cost management, and project budgets

  • Coordinate engineering and technical changes through design, planning, logistics, and site construction

  • Identify, document, and manage project design changes and document control

  • Monitor project delivery with consideration for cost, programme, and quality

  • Coordinate multiple projects and priorities simultaneously


What You Bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field is highly desirable

  • Genuine interest in the construction industry

  • Strong self-motivation and attention to detail

  • Excellent time-management and task-prioritisation skills

  • Strong professional communication and relationship-building abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities

  • Strong problem-solving and leadership skills within a team environment
