What You’ll Do: As a Veterinary Practice Manager, you will oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic, working closely with veterinarians, nurses, and reception staff. You will manage clinic operations, team performance, suppliers, inventory, financial processes, and compliance while driving continuous improvement and maintaining a positive workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily clinic operations and ensure efficient workflow and exceptional client service
Manage staff rostering, inventory, supplier relationships, and financial processes
Lead, support, and develop team members through training, performance reviews, and ongoing guidance
Maintain compliance with relevant veterinary industry standards and regulations
Monitor clinic performance through planning, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
Identify operational opportunities and implement effective systems and processes
Support a positive, collaborative, and high-performing workplace culture
Work closely with veterinarians, nurses, and reception staff to maintain high standards of patient and client care
What You Bring:
Previous experience in veterinary, medical, or allied health practice management is preferred
Alternatively, 5+ years of veterinary nursing experience in a senior role
Strong leadership, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team
Proficiency with practice management software and business administration
Strong client-service mindset and genuine passion for animal welfare
Confidence making decisions and working independently
Ability to build effective relationships with staff, clients, and suppliers
