Leading Hand – Luxury Residential Construction

Salary: $130k–$155k per year + bonus + super

With a strong reputation for quality, attention to detail, and repeat business, the organisation delivers bespoke projects across Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, South, and North Shore.
What You’ll Do: As a Leading Hand, you will play a key role supporting the Site Manager and Project Manager on a major luxury residential project valued at more than $25 million. You will combine hands-on site coordination with project administration, helping ensure construction activities are delivered to a high standard while gaining valuable exposure to complex bespoke construction and a clear pathway toward Site or Project Management.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Site Manager and Project Manager with day-to-day site operations
Coordinate trades, subcontractors, and site activities to maintain project progress
Assist with the delivery of a major luxury residential project valued at $25m+
Monitor workmanship, quality, and construction activities on site
Assist with site administration, documentation, and project coordination
Help coordinate materials, trades, and project resources
Identify and assist in resolving site issues and construction challenges
Work closely with project teams to maintain programme and quality requirements
Support the successful delivery of bespoke architectural finishes and construction details
Contribute to a safe, organised, and professional site environment
What You Bring:
Tertiary qualification, Diploma, or relevant trade background
Minimum 3 years' experience following qualification or apprenticeship
Hands-on site experience combined with administration and project coordination experience
Essential experience working on luxury bespoke residential projects, Class 1 or Class 2
Ability to coordinate multiple small-to-medium projects and project teams
Strong understanding of residential construction processes and site operations
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Professional and presentable approach
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Genuine interest in progressing toward Site Management or Project Management
