Registered Nurse – Residential Aged Care
Location: Merrylands West, Sydney NSW (On-Site)

Salary: $80k–$100k/year + salary packaging

What You’ll Do: As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality clinical care to elderly residents, ensuring their health, safety, and wellbeing are maintained to a high standard. You will manage care planning, medication administration, wound care, clinical support, and collaborate with the wider care team to deliver person-centred outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare high-quality care plans and assessments and provide comprehensive nursing care to elderly residents
Administer medications safely and provide best-practice wound care and clinical support
Support health promotion and illness prevention through education and wellness initiatives
Communicate clearly with residents and their families regarding treatment and care
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and care team members to coordinate resident care
Supervise and support the care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
Participate in handovers to ensure continuity of care across shifts
Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, accreditation standards, and quality requirements
Work night shifts as required by the roster and operational needs
What You Bring:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
Bachelor degree or higher qualification in nursing
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a relevant setting
Strong clinical knowledge and evidence-based nursing skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, resident-focused approach
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to continuous professional development and high standards of care
Australian citizenship or permanent residency
