Project Coordinator – Residential & Commercial Construction

Location: Melbourne, VIC (On-Site)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $80,000–$95,000 per year + super

What You’ll Do:As a Project Coordinator, you will provide essential support to the Project Management team across a diverse range of residential and commercial construction projects. You will coordinate procurement, subcontractor documentation, project administration, deliveries, and site activities while helping ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Raise, source, place, and compile purchase orders and subcontract agreements

  • Source project costs and negotiate with suppliers and contractors

  • Place orders in line with BOQs and project budgets

  • Provide administration support to the Project Management team

  • Prepare site packs including OH&S documentation

  • Coordinate deliveries and schedule works alongside Site Supervisors

  • Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records

  • Assist with freight coordination for inward and outward goods

  • Participate in site meetings and support project operations as required

  • Assist with general office administration, reception duties, and client interaction


What You Bring:

  • Previous experience as a Project Coordinator, Construction Administrator, or in a similar role

  • Understanding of residential and commercial construction processes

  • Ability to read and interpret plans and construction documentation

  • Strong organisational, administrative, and time-management skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Professional, proactive, and team-focused approach

  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software systems

  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism throughout all project stages
